In our “Fun Games to Play – for Parrots and Parronts” series, we’ve been exploring activities especially created for interspecies play.
This game is called “Who is the Prettiest?”
Game setup is simple: just gather two participants, a mirror, and one of those small rectangular flashing things (if desired).
A judge is not required, since the participants will vote amongst themselves to declare the winner.
Oh good! I think Mom wants to play “Who is the Prettiest!” I am very good at this game.
Here we both strike our “sexy” poses. I vote that I win this round.
In this round we go for our most “confident” looks. I vote I win this round.
Now we’ll do some “acting.” I don’t know what Mom is doing, but I vote that I win this round on the grounds that I am clearly the better actor.
Here we are supposed to admire one another. I am sure after Mom gets done admiring me she will agree I win this round.
Whenever one of the participants starts preening, game rules state the contest is officially over. At this time the participant votes are collected and tallied, and the (small, cute, feathery) winner is declared.
