Day 299: Super(bird) Modeling

Many beings (both with and without feathers) aspire to start a career in something called “supermodeling.” Yet this profession’s exacting job requirements (“hold still,” “look very pretty”) cull out almost as many candidates as they draw in. Only the creme de la creme make it all the way to “supermodeling” status. In the avian world, successful super(bird)models also know that micromanagement is the key to career longevity. After all, let’s say you take a(nother) very pretty picture, but then your large featherless assistant chooses to display it to your adoring fans in an unattractive frame?

Well, this turned out quite fetching, indeed (just as I knew it would).

These shiny crunchy accents are a nice touch.

And these shiny crunchy accents are a nice touch….in my favorite color, no less.

Thank goodness I am an expert micromanager – I will just let her know to add more of these green things to hide the pink.
