Part of developing expert hunting skills is to adopt a proactive approach to prey.
Here, what matters most is that you claim it….you can always decide afterwards if you want it or not.
In other words: “Pounce now, ask questions later.”
I spy prey.
I saw my large featherless assistant eyeing this prey and drooling. I’m not sure what it is but I’d better go ahead and claim it.
Now I need to decide if I want it.
Hmmmm. It’s quite crunchy and crumbly, but it sure doesn’t taste like “waffle.”
This might be a good moment to invoke “sharing is caring.”
