In the art world, artists sometimes used things abandoned by others – aka “found objects” – to make their art.
In the culinary world, dishes unwisely abandoned by diners may quickly become repurposed into “found dinners” by other diners.
Take an abandoned round slice of freshly baked baguette, for instance.
Well, well, well. This round bread appears to have been abandoned by a careless diner.
Oh hi Mom. This was yours? Sounds like a perfect time to perform my award-winning musical rendition of “finders keepers”…..
“Found” dishes always taste the best.
Yup. Delicious. And freshly baked by the Small Chef herself, if I am not mistaken.
Kind of creepy though….how its former owner keeps lurking nearby…
This calls for my signature “extreme measures” maneuver – the “full face beak plant.”
Yup. The lurker is gone. Works every time.
