Day 358: Dining to Save the Planet

Some beings seem to think if you have feathers, this automatically makes you a messy eater.

They only think this, of course, because they don’t understand why you dine the way you dine.

For example, flinging your “extras” around nourishes others (and reforests the planet one millet stalk at a time, if you happen to be a member of an “outdoor flock”).

So where uninformed others may just see a mess, you see a masterpiece-in-progress.

Wow - well this sure looks delicious.

Wow – well this sure looks delicious.

My large featherless assistant must have figured out I was feeling peckish....maybe it was all the screaming.

Thanks, Mom – and sorry about all the shrieking from earlier.

So I'll just put on my "neck feather napkin" for another session of refined dining, avian-style.

So I’ll just don my “neck feather napkin” for another session of dining to save the planet.

I think I'll start with this crispy corner over here...

I think I’ll start with this crispy corner over here…

Nom nom CRUNCH nom nom...

Nom nom CRUNCH nom nom…

A surprisingly far trajectory on that one....!

A surprisingly far trajectory on that one….!

Crunch crackle nom NOM nom...

Crunch crackle nom NOM nom…

If I aim this right, we could have a whole forest of these crispy things by morning!
