Wet Bird Couture Presents: The Roadrunner

The desert or “greater” roadrunner is a (er) wily avian for certain.

Rarely photographed without a delicious prey in-beak, the roadrunner can run faster than any large featherless being (up to 20 mph!) and bring down poisonous rattlesnakes and tarantulas.

Roadrunners don’t beep (despite what Disney may have been told) and actually coo like a dove when wooing ladybirds. The male roadrunner is a nesting pro who takes on both incubation and nest security until the chicks hatch.

Clearly only the manliest of super(bird)models could pull off this look. Wet Bird Couture is proud to present its latest must-have look, “The Roadrunner!”

Here, notice how the model's short yet powerful crest spikes up and away from the neckline, giving it that signature "roadrunner" look.

With love (& lots of feathers),
